  New light!!

  well the light just keeps getting brighter and brighter yesterday my stepson and his wife told me they will be having very limited association with me due to some new light at the dc .

  why did'nt they tell me this before i did 2 weeks work on there house for free!!!!!!!!!

  long story short, hubby is a dfd dub who is trying to get back wasnt raised one, became one when he was like 25 .. anyhoo, i have issues with the dubs due to knowing so many kids in my hs who were miserable growing up, but ive been to the kh a few times once when i was an impressionable teenager open minded to what they had to say due to my boyfriend at the time.

  they made a statement about all other religions are babylon or harlots or something like that and i knew from that point on that i would never be a part of it.

  fast forward to a few yrs ago me and hubby met back up after being separated for 10 years he said he used to be a dub, i said r u going back, he said prob not.

  what angers you about the truth

  this angers me .

  elders who will not make shepherding calls to comfort their brothers and sisters but as soon as that brother or sister puts one little foot out of line those same f-----g (sorry about the language but it really angers me ) elders can not move fast enough to form a judicial committee and then are so unmerciful - it makes me want to vomit literally

  the thing I hate about it is how cowardly it is to critical debate.

  I hate the ridiculous extremes of ‘reason’ it promotes in order to maintain belief in it, and how frightened it is to stand up to scrutiny, the fact that there is no open way to debate what it teaches and believes in.

  There is no reasoning with it and it is too closed minded and arrogant to ever attain truth and that is why it doesn’t have truth…..so therefore could never be the ‘truth’……

  But what angers me most about it is the way that it hurts people, mostly vulnerable people. So many times I have seen it bulldoze peoples emotions and crush them to the point where their spirit is broken inside of them, leaving them riddled with guilt and self condemnation, confirmed by the self-righteous who can’t wait to put these weak ones down so as to attain their own feelings of ‘spiritual’ superiority. For these I have hatred and contempt…..

  This is when I wished there was a god, so that the injustice could be corrected….

  When I aux once; it was 50 hours then. Like some one has already asked, how can that be considered full time…???

  Just over 8 hours a week to aux pio..... It’s still too much of a waste of life…..

  i hate the "new light" bull shit they have pronounced the end of the world that many times iam so shocked they still have followers.however with "new light"you can get away with anythink.. what do you guys really hate about the watchtower society.

  These kind of quotes are the thing that I hate. This gem is from the ‘proclaimers’ book talking about the fact that 1975 didn’t happen. They ask a question that is critical of themselves and then they don’t answer it by putting a positive statement of faith following the question that in no way answers anything.

  The answer to the question "did the beliefs of JW’s prove correct..?"…the simple answer is "NO…!! It proved to be bullshit…!!".

  Wouldn’t you just love it if in their literature they could be as candid…..

  oh boy, my legs are burning!.

  we bought mountain bikes last weekend and have been out every other day or so.

  today we went without the kids on a much further ride up some steep hills and along some lovely pathways.. i used to ride road bikes a lot (10-20 years ago) and go on 5-6 hour rides with groups but this is very different ... i need to keep practicing and will then think about getting a nice cervelo or something to do the jasper to banff ride.. for now, i'm happy to just get home each time!

  Yeah….I get out on the bike….although I will say that I have not been out for a goodly while. I wanted to get out this year (still haven’t yet, lazy slob that I am, and feel it too) but just haven’t seemed to manage it. I keep putting it off because I know that it is going to hurt….

  Wish that I would have kept up the fitness from over Christmas last year, when I went to Snowdonia, Wales, which has the Marin trail to ride around. (Really recommend it if there are any Brit enthusiasts.) Good for winter riding, as there is not too much mud…..

  But alas, I let the fitness go, and now I’m a fat slob……and when you are in that condition, it is going to hurt to change it…. But no pain no gain right…??

  Give it a few weeks and you will be ok. Every other day is good as well…… (Must take my own advice….What a hypocrite…..)

  Freeminds - Announcements

  barbara anderson recently posted that she felt at a loss as to where she would now be able to make her announcements.. hopefully freeminds can be the main place where we all go for big announcements once they are no longer available on jwd - freeminds helped many to initially find out the substance behind their doubts and i'm sure if there's not an announcement feature right now, randy can sort one out?
